Variant Desk is browser-based catalog-comparison software operated by an individual in Pakistan. Product and terms questions can be sent to waqarhsyed@yahoo.com. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with Shopify.
Current access and future purchases
The public beta is currently free to use. Paid access is unavailable, and the displayed $5, $9, and $19 report prices are proposed and based on distinct supplier SKU references. There is no recurring subscription, paid service commitment, or guaranteed launch date.
Before any future purchase, the final price, taxes where applicable, access scope, fulfillment method, and refund terms will be displayed. Using the beta does not authorize a charge or enroll you in a paid plan.
What the software does
The beta compares selected fields from one supplier CSV and one existing Shopify catalog CSV. You supply column mappings, explicitly confirm brand-specific label equivalences, and confirm that any amounts being compared use the same currency, price type, and tax basis.
The software provides a review report and mapping-settings JSON. It does not edit a store, generate a Shopify import file, validate every product field, or certify that an import is correct. Mapping-settings downloads are records of a configuration and cannot currently be imported back into the app.
Your responsibilities
Only use files you have permission to process. Keep backups and review results against your original records before updating a catalog. A recorded decision does not resolve blocked source data or approve an import.
Do not use the site unlawfully, disrupt it, attempt unauthorized access, or misrepresent the software as a Shopify-endorsed service. You retain ownership of your source data.
Availability and limitations
The beta may contain errors, change, or become unavailable. It is provided as available without a guarantee that every discrepancy will be detected. No uninterrupted availability or service-level agreement is offered. Download any reports you want to keep before closing or refreshing the page.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
